A Season That Returns
In the calendar of Revolutionary France, Germinale marks the return of nature—the moment when the world begins again.
With Germinale, Teresa Cervo celebrates the power to generate and regenerate: women’s heads bloom with leaves and thorns, seeds of life cast into a world determined to suppress spring.
This is not decoration.
It is presence.
It is resistance made visible.
The Works on Display
A curated selection of Teresa Cervo’s sculptural works: delicate yet uncompromising, poetic yet precise.
A tension of contrasts—beauty and endurance, fragility and strength, bloom and defense.
The Artist Teresa Cervo
Born in Naples (1958), Teresa Cervo lives and works in the city. Her artistic research explores the complexity of the feminine, celebrating its capacity for resilience and rebirth.
Her practice is primarily sculptural, using materials that defy expectation: paper and iron, transformed through time, care, and labor.
In Cervo’s hands, paper loses its fragility. Iron reveals its vulnerability.
Her works are included in private collections in Italy and abroad.
